Mike Kanellis Not Charging For Motivational Speaking Gigs

Mike Kanellis has been through a lot in the past three years. Months after he signed a new WWE contract for five years, he asked for his release. Kanellis has not been granted that release, but he is looking to branch out into public speaking.

He recently started taking motivational speaking gigs, but he’s not wrestling on any indie shows. Mike Kanellis made this very clear as he posted the following:

Hey guys.I’m not doing wrestling bookings. I’m looking to do motivational speaking at your event. Having said that, I will come to your wrestling show and talk to your locker room. Also, I’m not currently charging. Just asking my travel gets covered.

It might be worth it for a promoter to fly Kanellis in for a show. He might have a lot of wisdom to impart about the business and life in general. WWE might not be using Kanellis, but it seems like he’s going to come up with some way to keep himself busy.
