Madison Square Garden is a very special venue for WWE. They have held a ton of historic events there and will return once again on December 26th this year.

PW Insider reports that WWE is coming back to Madison Square Garden on March 22, 2020. No matches have been announced for that show yet, but there was a very interesting note. No other pro wrestling company has booked the World’s Most Famous Arena for an event and that includes the Hulu Theater.

We are told there are no other currently contracted dates for the venue (or the Hulu Theater) from any other professional wrestling companies.

This is interesting because Tony Khan said that AEW has spoken to MSG because the company wants to run the New York market. It looks like WWE is the only pro wrestling company running Madison Square Garden at this point.
