Cain Velasquez has a WWE Title shot at Crown Jewel on October 31st. The event will take place at 1:00 PM EST, but we will have full coverage right here at Ringside News.

While speaking to the New York Post, Rey Mysterio was asked about Velasquez’s training routine. The two were spotted training together and Mysterio had very positive things to report about Velasquez and how well he is taking to everything he’s been taught so far.

Not every WWE fan might know who Cain Velasquez is at this point, but they are sure to find out eventually.

“He’s practiced [moves] and he’s aced them right away as well as a couple of submissions that I’ve been wanting to pull out in my wrestling career that Cain has taught me.”

“WWE is a different world. In my case for the past 30 years, I fed off of the crowd. Maybe it might work for Cain. Maybe it will work better blocking the crowd out to a certain extent and just focus on his opponent. We won’t really know that until it actually happens.”

“For those who don’t know who he is, they will soon find out who he is because what he brought into the octagon every time he stepped in there is gonna be 10 times better when he gets in a WWE ring and faces Brock Lesnar for the first time.”

Cain Velasquez very well could win the WWE Title during his first match with the company. He will have to take down Brock Lesnar to make it happen, but Lesnar is not unbeatable and Velasquez has already racked up a win against the Best Incarnate. Let’s see if Velasquez will be able to keep up his winning record versus Brock Lesnar.
