AEW Crowns First-Ever World Tag Team Champions

AEW promised to focus on tag team wrestling. An AEW World Tag Team Tournament was one of the first things they got to once AEW Dynamite went on the air. Tonight they crowned first-ever champions.

Pentagon Jr and Fenix faced Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian in the finals of the tournament. This was an insane match that included many near falls.

The Rock n Roll Express were supposed to present the new titles. That couldn’t happen thanks to Ortiz and Santana’s surprise attack.

In the end, Scorpio Sky came out of nowhere and secured the win for SCU. This makes SCU the first-ever AEW World Tag Team Champions.
