Darby Allin has a huge match against Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite this week. He could very well become the AEW World Champion if everything goes his way. He is outspoken and an individual. That means sometimes his words can be misconstrued.

Allin recently wanted to clear something up. He doesn’t hate all football players who transition into pro wrestling. He just dislikes the ones who think they can jump everyone else and get to the top.

Let me make something clear.

I don’t dislike football players that have passion for wrestling.

I dislike jocks that have zero creativity and only do this cause someone said “you can jump all these small bastards in line to the top”.

Size might play into pro wrestling, but it isn’t everything. Someone like Darby Allin is seeking to prove that.

He might not see wrestling as his long-term career, but Allin is certainly giving us plenty of reasons to talk about him in All Elite Wrestling.
