WWE will be holding another Draft on October 11th and 14th. This time around the company is going for a completely different feel.

They made reference on commentary during RAW how representatives from Fox and USA Network will be around for the draft. Some people brushed over this comment, but it will actually be going down that way.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained WWE’s plan for their upcoming draft episodes on October 11th and 14th. They are going for a much different feel this time around by calling actual network representatives to make the decisions.

“So they’re gonna have reps from — it’s gonna be people who will be picking like a football draft. It’s not gonna be done like it’s done before. It’s gonna be a rep or reps from USA and a rep or reps from Fox that will be doing the picking as opposed to authority figures from WWE.”

“They don’t want authority figures right now so that’s how it’s gonna be.”

We previously reported that Vince McMahon was shown how the NFL Draft looks. This has certainly seemed to influence his decision this time around about what WWE’s Draft should be.

WWE RAW and SmackDown will likely look a lot different and people will be appearing to do the deciding that fans don’t recognize. This could be a very interesting situation, to say the least.
