WWE brought a big show for their FOX debut, but they didn’t have everyone on the show that fans were expecting.

Fans were not happy that Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Trish Stratus, and Sting did not appear on the show. They were all advertised, but were not even at the event.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that when the event was over fans didn’t know what was going on. The lights went up and they announced that the show was over. Then “AEW” chants started to break out.

This is a very interesting development. WWE did have a ton of people booked for the show and we wondered how they were going to get to everyone. It turns out that their answer was to simply not deliver everyone that they promoted for the big SmackDown FOX debut.
