Renee Young will be changing jobs in WWE, but she will still be on camera. She will be hosting the new FS1 news show “WWE Backstage” which is set to debut on November 5th at 11:00 PM EST.
PW Insider reports that Renee Young will not be taking part in WWE commentary from this point on. Now WWE Backstage will be her only responsibility.
She still seemed very happy about this new gig as she commented to WWE about the upcoming show.
The set will have a pro wrestling feel to it as well. It is reported that the staging will look like they’re inside a pro wrestling ring with yellow ropes. This show will also be pre-taped every week.
Cathy Kelley will also be “a big part of the series” as she will segment her time between NXT’s weekly live show and WWE Backstage.
BIG UPDATE: Shortly after PW Insider’s report, WWE revealed that Renee Young will be moving to SmackDown Live.
