NXT Superstar Injured & Will Require Surgery

NXT Superstars run a risk every time they step in the ring and sadly, it looks like Joaquin Wilde is now out of action.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Wilde, formerly known as DJZ will require surgery to repair a broken eye socket that he suffered in July. This was said to be a “freak accident” during training.

Doctors wanted to wait a while to see if it healed itself, but his injury did not get better on its own. He is expected to miss a few more weeks of action after having surgery.

This is a terrible time for Wilde to be out of the ring, especially since NXT just debuted on the USA Network. Now we can add Joaquin Wilde to the list of newly injured NXT Superstars which includes Velveteen Dream and Kona Reeves.
