Steve Austin is a legendary drinker, but so is Ric Flair. Not to ever be outdone, The Nature Boy apparently really gave The Rattlesnake a run for his money at the RAW Reunion.

Ric Flair was recently a guest on the Steve Austin Show podcast where they talked about their nights of partying before and after the RAW Reunion. Flair joked that Stone Cold “gave my pacemaker its first real run,” Austin claimed that Flair kept his drinking in check.”

Then Steve Austin admitted that by the time he got to the ring to conclude the big RAW Reunion that his voice was gone from partying with Flair and talking it up with Superstars all day long before the show.

“By the time I showed up at Monday Night RAW, I had stayed up so late with [Flair] two nights in a row. And then, [Flair] brought in this cast of characters,” Austin recalled. “And by the time we got to the RAW reunion, I was talking to the WWE Superstars for like eight hours before we went on air. By the time I went out to go cut my promo, my voice was basically gone because I had partied too hard with [Flair] and then talked my voice out, so I effed myself is what I did.”

Steve Austin obviously had a wonderful time at the RAW Reunion. He said that he’d be back every year if they had one.

Austin will also be on RAW next week to oversee a Clash Of Champions contract signing. Let’s hope that he will also have his voice so he might want to avoid partying with Ric Flair in NYC before the show.
