Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch took a vacation and it happened to fall in line with WWE canceling Raw house shows for two weeks straight.

We previously reported via Mike Johnson that WWE called off the live events in question due to The Architect and The Man’s absences. Brad Shepard reports that his source told him this is “100% false” and that “hell would freeze over” before Vince McMahon would lose house show revenue over someone’s vacation.

A source in #WWE told me this story from Mike Johnson is 100% false. In fact, I was told I could quote them on saying “The day someone forces Vince to cancel a show because they want to go on vacation is the day hell freezes over.”

WWE has been getting pretty low turnouts for house shows which is one of the reasons why they could be bringing back the Supershow concept. Rollins and Lynch are two very big draws for the company and they just so happened to vacation together, but apparently, that had nothing to do with the canceled house shows.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
