Sheamus is in great shape after dropping 30 pounds. He was unhappy with his shape in WWE so he got the time off he needed to chisel himself into a much different athlete.

As Sheamus spoke to E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness, he stated that “if” WWE will let him get back in the ring, he’d be very excited to see what he can do.

“If they ever let me back in there I think it’s definitely gonna help. The funny thing is when I was with Cesaro, which was one of the funnest times in my career, tagging with Cesaro with The Bar.”

“It’s funny in tag team wrestling when you get in there and are going 100 miles an hour. ‘Alright I need to get a breath,’ so he’ll tag himself in and of course, [Cesaro] would never run out of breath so I’d have to tag myself back in, but yeah it’ll be interesting to see. I’d like to find out how much better my wind is ring-wise.”

The only real workout for the pro wrestling ring is getting in the pro wrestling ring. That is always an important thing that people don’t need to take for granted or lose sight of. Sheamus might be in the best shape of his life and able to tackle workouts from any number of different areas of fitness, but he doesn’t know exactly how he will perform.

Perhaps WWE is just biding their time until they call Sheamus for a return, but he sounds more than willing to get back to action.
