WWE often holds dark matches as a way to thank fans for showing up to see events live. There weren’t lot of fans who showed up in Toronto for SmackDown, but they still got a nice surprise.

Daniel Bryan and Rowan teamed up after 205 Live was over and they took on Heavy Machinery. After a decent match, Heavy Machinery won the match via DQ.

This ending came about after Rowan grabbed a steel chair from ringside and used it against their opponents. So it gave Heavy Machinery a win over the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but it wasn’t a clean win by any means.

Bryan and Rowan beat Heavy Machinery down for a bit until Bryan accidentally hit Rowan with his Running Knee. At that point, Otis and Tucker fought back against the heels and they ran Bryan and Rowan off.

The fans went home happy at the end of Summerslam weekend as Heavy Machinery celebrated for a bit before finally exiting the arena.
