Dave Meltzer reported on F4WOnline that The Miz will not be wrestling Dolph Ziggler after all. It is reported that the current match booked for August 11th is a “red herring” to sway fans from the direction that they’re actually going to go in.

Dave Meltzer reports that — despite being announced for SummerSlam — The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler is a red herring and will be changed.

Since Dolph Ziggler is also throwing barbs at Goldberg and Shawn Michaels, you never know if either of those two legends will be stepping in to take The Miz’s place. This is going to present a very interesting situation, especially considering that Summerslam is just twelve days away.
