Kevin Owens’ character has really taken a change recently. He is now being pushed as an anti-authority Stone Cold type babyface who does what he wants. Right now what he wants is for Shane McMahon to stay off of television.
Owens and Shane McMahon seem destined to battle at SummerSlam. This is very interesting because we have seen them fight before, only the last time heel and babyface roles were reversed.
Brad Shepard reports that WWE is currently batting around the idea of making Owens vs McMahon a cage match. After all, the last time they met was in a Hell In A Cell match.
I’m told WWE is discussing the idea of Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon at SummerSlam in a cage.
Summerslam is going to be a stacked show and WWE will definitely want to put a spotlight on Owens vs McMahon. Therefore, making it a cage match could do the trick to get people extra excited about what is down the line for Toronto where KO will undoubtedly be incredibly over in front of a Canadian crowd.
