Cody Rhodes’ Condition After Scary Chair Shot At AEW Fyter Fest

Cody Rhodes suffered a very scary and bloody chair shot at AEW Fyter Fest. Shawn Spears jumped in the ring and turned heel in big way that nobody saw coming and his old friend’s head was left covered in blood.

There was some fear that Cody might have suffered a concussion after taking such a brutal unprotected chair shot. They even asked this question on commentary and brought up CTE. However, it appears The American Nightmare is okay.

After he was checked out, AEW updated fans saying: “12 staples and no concussion” along with a picture of Cody running the show from the production area.

Hopefully, Cody Rhodes doesn’t scare us like this again. Maybe AEW needs to have an unprotected chair shot policy after this one as well.
