Jon Moxley’s First AEW Match Confirmed

Jon Moxley surprised the wrestling world when he appeared at AEW Double Or Nothing. He will be having his first match outside of WWE on June 5th as he takes on Juice Robinson in NJPW for the IWGP United States title, but he will have a pretty big first match in AEW as well.

At the conclusion of Being The Elite Jon Moxley plucked Joey Janela’s cigarette out of his mouth before taking a drag and flicking it across the room. Janela didn’t look too happy about this and now they will get to throw down at Fyter Fest on June 29th.

It will be very interesting to see how this one turns out because both Moxley and Janela are famous for their extremely bloody death matches.

Mox hasn’t been able to mix it up like that in a long time since he’s been with WWE, but during his days on the indies he was known to throw down in a death match or two. Now that Jon Moxley is outside of WWE’s restrictions he might be itching to get down and dirty in a big way.

The Elite (The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) vs. Pac, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. (We will have to wait and see if Pac actually works this show)

Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin

Chris Jericho will be working the show as well against a yet-to-be-named opponent
