AEW’s first big event is going on tonight and Double Or Nothing promises to be an event full of pyro and surprises.

The Elite is looking to join forces with as many pro wrestling companies who are willing to work with them. Kenny Omega previously stated that they are open to working with WWE as well if they’re willing to play ball.

The Elite were involved with ROH and NJPW before starting their own company. Since they departed the two sides haven’t worked together since ROH now views AEW as competition (as they should). However, the door isn’t totally closed on a massive collaborative effort to better the pro wrestling world.

Nick Jackson stated during a Starrcast Q&A that before they made the AEW announcement they were speaking to ROH and NJPW.

“I’ll be honest right now we had meetings with Ring Of Honor and New Japan right be announcing the company so we’re willing to work with everybody.”

We will have to wait and see what happens next, but AEW is looking to do some big things and are willing to work with many different entities. This could be very interesting, but they have Double Or Nothing to worry about first.
