Bayley became Ms. Money In The Bank for a very short time on Sunday before cashing in to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. It appears that she might be losing that title back to The Man, but Bayley is not going to let her title go without a fight.

The women’s Money In The Bank ladder match kicked off the pay-per-view this year. However, it might not have been received very well all around.

Brad Shepard reported on Oh, You Didn’t Know that despite fans seemingly enjoying the women’s performance at Money In The Bank, higher ups backstage were not as impressed.

“When discussing the Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match a source in WWE told me the women didn’t do well. They weren’t high on the performance in the match.”

The women in the MITB ladder match even got the weekend off to practice, but it apparently didn’t do them many favors backstage. They tried, but apparently, they fell short in management’s eyes.

Bayley ended up winning the match and cashing in later in the night, but that seems to be the biggest takeaway from the performance. It is also interesting how WWE showed far more highlights from the men’s match than the women’s on the week’s television shows that followed.
