Impact Wrestling is on the Pursuit Channel right now, but more people seem to be watching the show on Twitch than on television. In fact, we don’t know how many people are watching on Pursuit because they don’t release those numbers.

There was a big issue on Pursuit last week because they went to commercial and then never returned to Impact Wrestling. Therefore, fans missed out on pretty much the entire main event match of Rich Swann vs Michael Elgin.

PW Insider reports that Pursuit Channel has been “very slow in responding to Impact requests and dealing with reported issues.” This is a problem because they apparently are still listing Impact Wrestling as four different 30-minute episodes instead of a two-hour program on the channel guide. This makes it really hard for fans who watch the show via DVR.

It seems that this last week’s issue of cutting 24 minutes from the show was the final straw for Impact Wrestling and they are now in the pursuit to find a better television home in the fall.

This week’s technical issue with the last 24 minutes of the show being replaced by commercials was beyond frustrating for everyone in the company and the hope is that they’ll find a new, better TV outlet for the Fall.

Impact Wrestling has a lot of very talented sports entertainers on their roster. It would be great if they could just get people to tune into the show.

Hopefully, they will find a better television home, but Pursuit Channel was never thought of as a permanent home by any means.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
