AEW is a budding pro wrestling company that is getting rather hard to ignore. They will practically impossible not to notice on May 25th as Double Or Nothing takes over Las Vegas. WWE obviously sees them as well, but are they concerned?

WWE has been offering their Superstars much more money recently while trying to nail them down to multi-year contracts. The going time frame seems to be around five years for new deals so WWE wants to keep their Superstars around for a while.

Rhyno will not be re-signing with WWE when his contract is up on July 17th. He declined huge offer from WWE in the process. As he spoke to Chris Van Vliet, The Man Beast gave his theory on why WWE is offering so much more cash to Superstars.

“I don’t know if they’re scared or they’re concerned. This is no inside information, this is just what I think and if there is no other talent out there, then no other companies can grow. There’s a lot of stuff whether it’s Impact, Ring of Honor or New Japan where they are doing more stuff over here and Impact and AEW and those other companies, if they don’t have the equipment to build that factory then there’s not going to be that competition so to speak. So I think that’s why they’re offering a lot of money,”

It should be noted that the company’s official reason as to why they are now offering such high-dollar deals is because they have a lot of cash coming in from television contracts that will help them provide better pay for Superstars.
