Kurt Angle might have wrestled his final match at WrestleMania 35 against Baron Corbin, but there are a lot of things that he could do in a pro wrestling ring. The WWE Hall Of Famer recently signed a new deal with WWE which was how the company was able to pull him from the Starrcast event along with The Undertaker.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Angle provided some more details on his new WWE contract. It is for five-years and he will be on camera if they need him on a part-time basis. The important part is that he will be helping to foster growing talent backstage.

“I signed a five-year deal with WWE. I’m going to do some part-time – if they need me in front of the TV, maybe managerial, where I would be managing some wrestlers.”

“But the most important thing is I’m going to be a producer. I’m going to help the wrestlers with their technique. I’m going to help them structure their matches. It’s something I’m very good at. I thought I’d be able to contributor the company [in that role].”

Kurt Angle’s story with WWE is not done at all. With five years left we could be seeing a lot more of him. However, this could just be an example of someone that WWE wants to keep under contract so nobody else can use him much like how they used Angle’s new contract to immediately pull him from the Starrcast event.
