Becky Lynch certainly seemed open to taking Ronda Rousey on once again when she celebrated on the RAW After WrestleMania. The Baddest Woman On The Planet was defeated and it was thanks to a very controversial pin.

The referee in that match was fined and attention was called to this botch on commentary because Rousey’s shoulder was clearly up during the final pinfall of WrestleMania 35. However, this was not by design.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter explained that Rousey vs Lynch vs Flair was supposed to have decisive finish, but that obviously didn’t work out. WWE’s thinking is that they wanted to leave the door open for another Rousey vs Lynch match. This is why they decided not to have the encounter end in a submission, but they never expected for Ronda’s shoulders to be up.

Upon watching live, you were left with the impression it was a planned finish to set up a rematch. But the idea behind the finish was for the pin to be clean. But not having Lynch win via submission was a way to keep the door open for a rematch.

We will have to wait and see what happens next. WWE is currently selling some serious merchandise for Becky Two Belts so she might hold onto the title for long enough that Rousey can make a return.

The Man will at least be waiting for Rowdy Ronda Rousey whenever she does come back around.
