WWE Unclear On Paige’s Role In The Company

Paige is a fan favorite for a reason. The WWE Universe was saddened when she was pulled from her role as SmackDown General Manager, but it was nothing compared to when she had to retire from the ring at such a young age.

At this time, Paige’s contract is running up in April, but WWE wants to use her. We have been told that WWE is still weighing their options on how to use Paige and what her new role could be in the company.

Renee Young previously spoke about pulling for Paige to get role in the commentary position. This is actually an option for Paige as is a role as a backstage producer, trainer, or some other on-screen talent. She could be a manager, but the likelihood of her being cleared to take any bumps is not good.

However, as of today, she is still under WWE contract with no real role for her. Hopefully, WWE will be able to figure something out for the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion because she could still offer a lot to the company.
