Roman Reigns’ return meant more than just reforming The Shield. He participated in a main event match on the show and broke record in the process.

After being part of the main event match, Roman Reigns broke a record for competing in three Fastlane main events. This might sound impressive, but The Big Dog hasn’t lost any of those matches either which really drives the statistic home.

Roman Reigns is actually 4-0 at WWE Fastlane. The reformation of The Shield was a big enough deal to deserve a main event match, but if the WWE Title match were to headline instead a record would have still been broken. Because Kevin Owens has been in the main event of two Fastlane events in the past.

Reigns’ return to WWE has been a very successful one so far. We will have to wait and see what is next for The Big Dog, but WWE Fastlane was a very good night for him.
