Paige had to retire from in-ring competition and since then she was able to remain on WWE programming as General Manager. It wasn’t until recently when she was taken out of that role.

Paige is still a favorite for many fans that would love to see her wrestle again. During PW Insider Elite Audio, Mike Johnson brought up a very interesting interview Paige did with Chris Van Vliet where she dropped an intriguing tease about maybe wrestling again in four years.

“Paige made some interesting comments yesterday at Royal Rumble Axxess talking about the potential of coming back. Really the interviewer said, ‘You never say never’ that her career is done. She said, ‘Well, maybe in four years’ which is probably around the time her WWE contract ends and she said ‘No one wants to watch me wrestle when I’m 60’ and joking about nobody wanting to watch wrestlers in their advanced age.”

“You know as I’ve said all along if she wanted to take a bump, she could. She shouldn’t, but she could. As long as she’s under contract to WWE that’s not going to happen. Whether she gets out of her contract with WWE and takes some bumps we will see. I personally advise against it.”

Paige has spinal stenosis which is something that needs to be taken very seriously. That condition cost Edge and Steve Austin their pro wrestling careers.

However, with the landscape of professional wrestling continually evolving, you never know what opportunities could open up for Paige as she turns 30-years-old in four years.
