All Elite Wrestling has a lot of big moves to come and they’ve already made plenty. With television deal on the horizon, the new pro wrestling company could be covering a lot of ground very quickly. They already have a talented roster, but there is always room to grow.

Dave Meltzer discussed the idea of Matt and Jeff Hardy leaving WWE and going to AEW during Wrestling Observer Radio. It isn’t out of the realm of possibility, however, it is very hard to imagine that WWE would allow them to leave if there’s anything they can do about it right now.

“I know that both of their deals will be up right before WrestleMania because they signed right before WrestleMania a couple of years ago. I could see [WWE extending their contracts] right now. I don’t know it, but it makes sense. I know they don’t want Matt and Jeff Hardy as free agents right now, you know?”

“The Hardy Boys going to AEW to feud with The Young Bucks? Man, I wouldn’t want that at all if I’m WWE.”

It would be a great get if AEW could snag The Hardys. Nick and Matt Jackson are obviously close with Matt and Jeff. The Hardys competed in a killer ladder match for ROH against The Young Bucks on the night before coming back at WWE’s WrestleMania event and winning a ladder match for the RAW Tag Team Titles. You can never say never in WWE, but it’s not likely that they would let the Hardys go so easily if they knew that AEW was their destination.
