WWE has a lot of people who are ready to make a main roster jump from NXT. Ultimo Ninja, now known as Humberto Carrillo has worked in NXT, but he was apparently on his way to the main roster sooner than most. However, WWE seemed to spoil this surprise.

WWE’s Worlds Collide Tournament will see members of the NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live rosters compete against each other. The winner of the tournament will get to challenge for any title of their choosing from the brands represented in the brackets.

The Superstar already pulled from the tournament is Humberto Carrillo. However, as Mike Johnson explained on PW Insider Elite audio, WWE seemed to have spoiled Carrillo’s 205 Live debut with the Worlds Collide announcement.

“I find it funny that they accidentally spoiled a debut on 205 Live in the official announcement. That was weird as they announced Humberto Carrillo the former Ultimo Ninja form CMLL and some other places in Mexico will be working that tournament as a representative of 205 Live when he has not debuted for the brand yet.”

Now Carrillo’s spot is “A Superstar to be named.” Of course, Humberto Carrillo could be the Superstar scheduled to accept Buddy Murphy’s open challenge next week on 205 Live. That could logically see him back in the tournament.

We will have to wait and see who WWE plugs into the now-empty spot, but it very well could still be Humberto Carrillo. He just needs to make his debut on 205 Live first.
