Dean Ambrose has long been known as the Lunatic Fringe as a member of The Shield or on his own. However, that’s not what he’s going as anymore.

In fact, Ambrose might even get angry if you refer to him as The Lunatic Fringe now. Because Ambrose has a new nickname: The Moral Compass.

The Moral Compass was something said by Renee Young first on commentary and then other members of the commentary team started following along. It seems like this is what they’re going to start calling him.

You never know if a nickname change like this will stick. If it starts popping up on merchandise then it’s likely to stick around. Ambrose isn’t the only top Superstar with a nickname change recently because AJ Styles got little freshening up as well.
