Cody Rhodes’ match against Juice Robinson at Wrestle Kingdom 13 did not turn out the way The American Nightmare would have liked. He lost the United States Title, but he did a real favor for Juice.

Rhodes wrestled in the Tokyo Dome with an injured knee and procedure already on the schedule to repair the damage. He was injured and had to cancel other wrestling gigs before then to only fulfill his final ROH and NJPW matches.

You never know if Rhodes might wrestle for either of those companies again, but it won’t be for a while at least. Cody commented on the condition of his knee and things don’t sound good.

“My knee is shot. I shouldn’t be walking on it, multiple meniscus tears. Complex/horizontal.

But we have a great doctor and the scope has a short recovery time back to 100%.”

Hopefully, Rhodes will be able to get his issues fixed. All Elite Wrestling is taking off so he might have some time to prepare himself for a new promotion. In the meantime, Cody has a great doctor so he’s in good hands.
