“Mean” Gene Okerlund Admitted To Nursing Home Before His Death

The death of “Mean” Gene Okerlund saddened us all and he changed the lives of millions of fans as he entertained them during his 76 years on the planet. We were lucky to have him and now we have more details surrounding his death.

Todd Okerlund, Mean Gene’s son confirmed to TMZ that his father was getting frail and then he suffered a fall.

After Okerlund fell at home he was admitted into a nursing home. He spent four days at the nursing home before he started having trouble breathing. This is when he was rushed to the hospital.

Gene had his long-time wife Jeanne by his side during the time of his death as well.
