Todd Okerlund, Mean Gene’s son confirmed to TMZ that his father was getting frail and then he suffered a fall.
After Okerlund fell at home he was admitted into a nursing home. He spent four days at the nursing home before he started having trouble breathing. This is when he was rushed to the hospital.
Gene had his long-time wife Jeanne by his side during the time of his death as well.
