WWE always likes to own things that are on their television shows. This is why it’s such a big deal that something like Sister Abigail doesn’t belong to them.

John Cena’s newest move of doom got a lot of hype and then once he debuted it there were differing opinions on how effective it is. They are calling this move the Lightening Fist and it seems like it’s not going away.

WWE has registered a trademark for “Lightning Fist” now with plans to use it on a slew of merchandise and other marketing. It looks like this one will be theirs so nobody can take it out from under them.

You can check out the documents we’ve obtained below from the trademark office detailing WWE’s newest intellectual property.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
