WWE SmackDown Live ended this week in a rather surprising way. Mustafa Ali pinned WWE Champion The New Daniel Bryan with a 054 splash while AJ Styles took care of Andrade Cien Almas on the other side of the ring.
Mustafa Ali has already admitted that he doesn’t know what he’s doing during his finisher, maybe that was proven tonight because his 054 finisher could have injured Daniel Bryan.
Wrestle Votes reports: “Looks like Mustafa Ali landed hard on Bryan’s arm and chest during the 054 finish. You can hear Ali say something to Bryan then ‘I’m sorry.’ Hope Bryan’s OK.”
Yes, let’s hope that Daniel Bryan is okay. After all, the last thing Mustafa Ali needs right now is to get heat for hurting the champion on his first official night on the blue brand.
