Possible Spoiler For WWE TLC & Future Of Raw

WWE’s Raw brand is going through a bit of a transition right now and it appears that the upcoming TLC pay-per-view on December 16th might only be a stop on the road to even more stories down the line. With no real promise of closure for the San Jose crowd, it will be interesting to see how well WWE sells out the venue. But there are a few key matches scheduled including one that might not even be able to take place due to injury.

Baron Corbin is scheduled to get Braun Strowman’s hands at WWE TLC in a match that Braun demanded from Stephanie McMahon. This even prompted McMahon to crack a joke about disembowelment. But then Strowman suffered a post-match beatdown that left him bloody and requiring surgery which was written into the story so he could get bone spurs removed from his elbow.

Depending on the recovery time, Braun might not be able to work a full match at WWE TLC, but as Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite audio, there could be the chance that Strowman can get involved in some way and win the match which would help out his Team Little Big tag team partner in an interesting and inadvertent way.

“They could also do a situation where Braun comes back and it’s a completely one-sided thing and he pins Baron Corbin very easily and you know we had heard that if that does happen then Alexa Bliss is gonna kinda be talked about as being slotted right into that GM role as a possibility.”

“Who knows? Things could always change, she could be cleared to return to the ring but we did see tonight that she was given the chance and she was deputized  by Baron Corbin to oversee the entire Women’s Division so that could be the first step in a larger world for Alexa Bliss.”

Only time will tell what is next for Bliss, but it seems like there aren’t a lot of options if she can’t wrestle and can’t really manage because managers need to be able to take bumps as well unless it’s a very rare exception.

But the fact that Baron Corbin seemed to test Bliss out in this role could mean that WWE has plans for Braun Strowman to at least show up at TLC and squash Baron which would do the Lone Wolf no favors at all unless he can get his heat back in some way. But it could mean the start of a new role for Bliss until she’s eventually returned.
