WWE is the biggest pro wrestling company on the planet and honestly, they didn’t get that way by playing nice with their competition. They bought up territories after raiding their top talent while collecting video libraries the entire time.
Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite audio that WWE is actually eyeballing another company in pretty big way. After all, MLW fired a pretty interesting shot by holding a War Games event last night.

“WWE is paying very close attention to MLW TV and they’ve made a number of overtures to people who work behind the scenes or on camera for MLW just like they’re paying very close attention to Ring Of Honor and New Japan and elsewhere.”

It looks like MLW might want to nail some of their top names down if they want to keep them around because WWE isn’t shy about offering someone a big deal they can’t refuse if their current company can’t.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
