Former Impact Champion Not Coming To WWE

There are a lot of guys out there working the indies who WWE would love to get their hands on. James Storm is a wrestler they had their eye on and actually brought him to NXT for a very brief time before he decided to leave because of family concerns. Legend has it James Storm was even supposed to get AJ Styles’ entrance music.
But Storm popped up at the MLW: War Games show and attacked “Filthy” Tom Lawlor meaning he’s probably going to be appearing on another television show on a regular basis as Mike Johnson discussed on PW Insider Elite Audio.

“In a bit of a surprise, James Storm attacking Tom Lawlor during the show so the former Impact Champion will be a part of MLW going forward. Joey Janela and Tom Lawlor were having a pretty good match until James Storm made a pretty unceremonious appearance to debut for the company.”

Only time will tell how long Storm’s deal with MLW might be. But this is certainly something that could keep him from a Beer Money reunion in WWE.
