Up and coming UFC Heavyweight Curtis Blaydes is not a happy camper.

Speaking to MMA Fighting, Blaydes let rip on the UFC’s handling of the Heavyweight Title picture after the winningest champion in UFC history, Stipe Miocic, was knocked out but Light Heavyweight king Daniel Cormier at UFC 226, with the winner potentially going on to face Brock Lesnar in a money fight.

Blaydes, who is on a 6 fight undefeated streak after claiming wins over legends such as Alistair Overeem and Mark Hunt, feels hard done by the WWE Universal Champion waltzing in and taking his spot – a spot he feels Stipe Miocic is also equally entitled to having broken the record for most consecutive Heavyweight Title defences.

And Blaydes also had a rather interesting theory as to why fans were interested in watching Lesnar – who hasn’t fought in over 2 years – compete inside the Octagon again.

Brock Lesnar, he’s going to go fight for the title, go make beaucoup money, and he’s going to go get knocked out. He’s not good.

It’s weird how MMA fans are, like, just fascinated by his muscles. Like, they just like to see a big guy with his physique in the Octagon. They don’t believe he can win, they just like to see him in Octagon. I don’t get it.

Maybe they just like his tattoos, I don’t know.

Who do you think Curtis Blaydes should fight next? Or if the proposed Brock Lesnar fight falls through because of any reason, do you think he should step in to fight Daniel Cormier?
