Update On Eli Drake Possibly Coming To WWE

Eli Drake’s Impact Wrestling contract is nearing an end and pretty soon he will have to make a decision about the next step in his career. Although WWE might be an attractive offer, some Impact Wrestling fans would hate to see him go.

One Wrestling Observer Radio listener wrote in asking about Drake’s current contract status and Dave Meltzer replied saying he was actually just asking about that himself.

“It is funny you should ask because I just asked that question and there is no answer to that question. He is not signed a new deal with Impact, he is talking to Impact but there is no feeling one way or another it is very much in the air.”

It looks like Eli Drake could go either way, but as WWE keeps signing more and more top talent it could give him a bigger reason to go and stay whichever way he wants to look at things.
