WWE RAW kicked off this week with Kevin Patrick on commentary alongside Wade Barrett. He explained that he is stepping in for Michael Cole this week.

This is a very rare absence for Michael Cole. He is a mainstay in WWE, and some fans were taken aback when he wasn’t on the show when RAW kicked off their season premiere episode.

Michael Cole has been around WWE for 25 years, and he’s only called off a few times. We will have to see what his reason was for missing this week, but we’re sure it was a very good reason.
