Conor McGregor and Becky Lynch have been throwing some words around on Twitter which seem to leave door open for The Notorious to come into WWE and assist The Man in some form or fashion. It seems like a long shot but stranger things have happened in WWE.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that not only would McGregor’s asking price be too steep for WWE, but it also begs the idea of what they could do in order to make an angle with Conor McGregor work in WWE for a WrestleMania moment.

“He can do anything he wants, they’ll have him […] They’ll pay him something, but will it be as much as he wants? I’ll put it this way, if he’s angling for money they’re not gonna come close to his price. He’s not gonna do a match I don’t think.”
“I would think that he’ll do it for $10 million, but are they gonna pay him $10 million when they don’t even have pay-per-view anymore? I just don’t see it. Like if they’re gonna pay him big money it’s gonna be for Saudi Arabia and he probably wouldn’t do that.”
“I can see that [Conor] in Becky’s corner and someone else in Ronda’s corner, but who would it be?”

It was noted that WWE could always have McGregor stand in Lynch’s corner but you have to consider who would stand in the corner of his opponent. That person might need to be picked carefully as to not make Conor look small as well. But if I were a betting man McGregor’s price tag might just be too much for WWE to spend on someone who isn’t going to wrestle in a match.
