WWE Survivor Series saw the blue team lose every match that counted, even though Xavier Woods is pretty irritated that their kickoff show didn’t win apparently it was someone else’s fault backstage that SmackDown was booked to win in the first place. Shane McMahon is humiliated and apparently, Stephanie McMahon has, even more, to brag about at Thanksgiving and that eats him up inside.
Now McMahon is promising big changes to the blue team. He tweeted out following their winless Survivor Series: “This wasn’t the night I had in mind for Team Blue. Tomorrow is a new day, but something is going to have to change come Tuesday.”
Mike Johnson speculated on PW Insider Elite audio that McMahon could have any number of things in store for this change from firing Paige to doing something a bit less drastic.

“We’ll see what those changes entail, is he going to remove Paige from power as the General Manager, is he going to get angry and go full-blown heel as a GM? Is he going to try and take out — like his father has in the past, take out his anger on certain talents take babyfaces and torment them?”

Only time will tell what happens down the line, but a couple of those options sound just fine but as someone who has been pulling for Paige since NXT the idea of firing her doesn’t sit well.
WWE loves her and what she’s doing as GM and the fact that she’s got a movie coming out about her life next year doesn’t hurt either. However, you can never put it past WWE to pull some insanity to draw heat and McMahon removing Paige from power would certainly get that job done turning him full heel in the process.
Whatever happens, the Commissioner of SmackDown Live has promised some kind of change this week.
