Kurt Angle was supposedly going to be in the 5 on 5 men’s Survivor Series elimination tag team match last night but he was seemingly written out of the storyline. Since Drew McIntyre made Angle tap out to his own submission hold, The Olympic Hero has been nowhere to be seen.
There might be somehow that the former Raw GM might come back in time for the Royal Rumble, but for whatever reason, it looks like his hiatus is going to be extended a little longer than some fans might like.
Angle posted a picture on his Instagram story at 6:00 PM on Monday saying that he is still on vacation. He is taking a selfie with his daughter and the two seem to be having a good time, but Angle isn’t in LA for Raw.
If I were a betting man Kurt Angle will wrestle again, but he might need to be more of a special attraction moving forward. He’s still great in the ring, but it might be a great thing for him at this stage in his career to enjoy some long breaks in between matches. At least he’ll be getting more of a break this time around as it is apparently extended by at least one week.
