Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair were having a very competitive wrestling match and then all of a sudden, Flair decided to grab a kendo stick and start teeing off on The Baddest Woman On The Planet. Their match ended via DQ and then Rousey continued a post-match beatdown that was pretty extensive.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio what WWE’s intention for these events was while pointing out the fact that the Becky Lynch vs Rousey match that fans are looking forward to so much so a possible WrestleMania spot might not be in the plans at all because Flair is still very much in the mix.

“So here’s the deal, they wanted Charlotte really over, okay? Becky Lynch is already really over, Ronda Rousey is already really over, they wanted Charlotte really over. Charlotte was a little bit cold off of the Becky Lynch thing so this was to get her back going. It’s whatever it is.”
“As far as where everything goes, Ronda Rousey needs to get her revenge on Charlotte in theory more than Becky Lynch, does that mean that they do this at WrestleMania? You know I don’t know do they do something at Royal Rumble? Where does this all fit in?”
“It could end up being a threeway at WrestleMania. I think that may be the compromise so to speak in a sense that, ‘We’ll do this thing for Charlote and if she gets over then she doesn’t lose the WrestleMania thing,’ and maybe it’s a threeway, I don’t know. What I do know is that they wanted three super-over women when this was over and they thought they had two and Charlotte was the third.”

He went on to say how “this match and whole scenario was about getting Charlotte over to where she’s very viable and everything with Rousey, so it keeps the thing going so it wasn’t that Charlotte and Rousey was supposed to be a one-shot thing. Because it wasn’t planned to be.”
Therefore, you can probably take those hopes that Becky Lynch will be getting a singles match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania and put them in the same place you keep your hope of so many other things that are possible but not likely.
Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania might not be the direction WWE is taking after all because Charlotte Flair is still around and after the insane amount of heat she brought to herself in the post-match beatdown of Rousey at Survivor Series, it certainly appears that Rousey would reasonably want to get some revenge.
