WWE taped tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live from the Manchester Arena today in Manchester, England. Below are the spoiler results from the show.
* Paige kicks off the show by introducing Shane McMahon to a hugely negative reaction. CM Punk cants break out. Shane says he may not be Best in the World and that the trophy belongs to SmackDown Live and not him. Shane says he acted on instinct. Daniel Bryan is announced as the captain of Team SmackDown but The Miz comes out and says he should be the captain. Shane & Paige agree and make Miz & Bryan co-captains. The Miz and Bryan agree that Shane must be part of team blue at Survivor Series. Shane agrees. The crowd is not happy about that.
* Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade Almas is announced for later.
* The Usos defeated The New Day and are now the captains for the Survivor Series tag match.
* Segment with Daniel Bryan and The Miz. They agree that if Rey Mysterio can defeat Almas, he will be added to the SmackDown Survivor Series team.
* Becky Lynch comes out and cuts an in-ring promo on Ronda Rousey. Becky says that Ronda may hold a championship but she’s not a champion. Becky said she was not hand picked like Ronda was but here she is. Becky is looking for a fight but out comes Nikki Cross with Sanity.
* Becky Lynch defeats Nikki Cross via submission.
* The winner of Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe will be added to the Team SmackDown.
* Rey Mysterio defeated Andrade Almas to be added to the SmackDown Survivor Series team. After the match, Randy Orton hits Mysterio with an RKO.
* Paige confirms the Survivor Series Women’s Team will be Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Mandy Rose comes out and asks just why she is not included in when Deville, Carmella, Asuka and Naomi are.
* Samoa Joe defeats Jeff Hardy to earn the final spot on Team SmackDown for Survivor Series. After the match, Joe attacks Bryan who returns fire. That gets Miz involved. Shane McMahon is out to break them up but but himself gets nailed by Bryan as we go off air.
