WWE Evolution featured the in-ring return of Trish Stratus and Lita in an actual match that wasn’t a Royal Rumble situation. This was a match with a couple changes along the way as Evolution approached but many were satisfied by the end result.
They won the opening contest during the first-ever all-female WWE pay-per-view toppling Mickie James and Alicia Fox — but they weren’t done yet because they also appeared on Raw the next night where they competed in a big tag match where they got to work with practically every member of the Raw Women’s Roster at the same time.
But it looks like Trish and Lita have made their appearance and Team Bestie is leaving once again. The 2 WWE Hall Of Famers took to Twitter for a mirror pose where Trish thanked the WWE Universe for having them back — but then said: “Team Bestie out.”
Only time will tell when the next time we’ll see Trish and Lita perform, after all, they certainly still have what it takes to perform in the ring. But it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing them in a regular storyline from this point on. However, with this successful of a return, all it would take is a phone call and Team Bestie could always be back.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
