WWE is a place where sometimes it’s easier to get along if you have allies. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre were a good team and became Raw Tag Team Champions and Braun Strowman was a powerful ally indeed. But it seems like that alliance is now over.
Raw General Manager Baron Corbin booked The Shield vs The Dogs Of War once again to close out the show this week and although there was some heat between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose during the match, the other team ended up disbanding.
Following Ziggler getting pinned after a triple powerbomb from The Shield, Braun Strowman got in the ring and Ziggler got those hands. Strowman nailed a running powerslam just to turn around and catch a Claymore Kick to the face.
Michael Cole asked if we just saw the break-up of this team which is usually a good sign that is exactly what just took place. Only time will tell what’s next, but it looks like Ziggler and McIntyre will carry on as Raw Tag Team Champions while Strowman faces Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar by himself at WWE Crown Jewel.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
