Velveteen Dream is undoubtedly one of the most charismatic and most over Superstars down in NXT. However, it seems “The Dream” will be expending his workload as he looks to compete at an upcoming independent show.

The show itself will be for EVOLVE- a promotion WWE has a working relationship with. Dream is set to take on Austin Theory at EVOLVE 112 from the MCW Arena at the Joppa Market Place in Joppa, MD on September 7.

The day after, Dream will take on Darby Allin at EVOLVE 113, which will air from Queens, NY.

Superstars from WWE who have found themselves EVOLVE-bound for appearances have always been kept off-camera as exclusives for those in attendance. At the same time, these Superstars never have matches and are often just appearing to talk to the crowd.

Dream will be the first Superstar to return to EVOLVE and compete whilst under a WWE contract. As he is competing during the shows, it is likely his matches will be featured on the specials customers from around the world can watch.

This is likely a result of WWE having not only a working relationship with the promotion but also through Triple H working with Gabe Sapolsky. Sapolsky is the man who owns and operates EVOLVE- though he also works as part of the team Triple H has for NXT.
