Backstage Reaction to Rich Swann’s Recent Arrest

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that many people within WWE were shocked when they found out about the incident involving Rich Swann and his wife Vannarah Riggs. On the other hand, there were others who knew the couple from the independent circuit that would describe them as two “broken” people before they found love in each other but the relationship was combustible. These individuals were not shocked to hear the news.

The situation was described as very unfortunate because in the end, Swann’s career in WWE may be over for good. This will be a devastating loss the the couple financially. WWE’s policy is to suspend any talent who is arrested for a domestic violence charge and if he or she is convicted in a court of law, they would be terminated immediately.
