James Ellsworth Leaving WWE Soon?

As seen on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, Carmella seemly turned on James Ellsworth and super kicked him after his match against Becky Lynch.

Dave Meltzer discussed the incident on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and speculated that this is probably the end of James Ellsworth. Meltzer didn’t elaborate if that means he is splitting from Carmella and they are planning something new for him or if he’s done with WWE altogether.

It’s very possible that his WWE contract is running out. Ellsworth signed with WWE nearly one year ago from now and this could have been a way to write him off WWE television.
