Shelton Benjamin has officially signed a new deal with WWE, according to PWInsider.
Benjamin has been rumored to return to the company for several months now after he’s been cleared to return from injury. If you recall, his comeback last year was delayed when WWE medical found out about a preexisting injury when he underwent testing.
Shelton was originally slated to make his comeback on the SmackDown Live brand but it’s unknown exactly which brand he will be on now as many things have changed within the company since his injury was discovered. All that is known is that a source within the company said that Benjamin is expected to be on TV “soon.”
